ColorLite sph ipm industrial spectrophotometer
The ColorLite sph ipm is an industrial spectrophotometer for non-contact and contact spectral online colour measurement in real time. Continuous monitoring of the process helps reduce high reject costs, since colour deviations are recognised and reported immediately.
Easy operation via 7″ touch display
The sph ipm is operated through a 7″ touchscreen with colour display and logical menu navigation. The display shows measured values, progress curves, status messages and alarms.
Built for production
The spectrophotometer has a solid aluminium housing that is dust and water protected according to IP65. It can be used with an external probe head or as an integrated spectrophotometer.
Measuring geometries
The sph ipm supports 45°/0°, d/8°, 20°/0° and d/0° geometries with measuring areas from 2 mm to 80 mm. A holographic grating spectrometer scans from 400 to 700 nm in 3.5 nm intervals, and repeatability is below 0.05 ΔE CIELab on a white surface.
Communication with your process control system
Interfaces are adapted to customer requirements. As standard the instrument has serial USB and isolated RS232, and CAN, Ethernet, PROFIBUS and PROFINET are available as isolated options. A 4/4-channel digital I/O is also included, and the device runs on 24 VDC.
Applications
The sph ipm is used for reflection measurement of coated surfaces, metal sheets, floor coverings, plastics, bulk materials, building materials, textiles, paper and food. With an additional light source it also measures foils, glass and plexiglass in transmission. The standard warranty is one year and can be extended with a ColorLite maintenance contract.
